Is there a minimum stay?

During high season, the minimum stay is 5 nights. For the rest of the season, it's 3 nights. Shorter stays may be possible on request, depending on availability.

Is booking directly through the website cheaper?

Absolutely! Booking directly through our website, by email or over the phone always guarantees the best available rate.

Is a deposit required to confirm a booking?

Yes, a deposit of 30% of the total booking amount is required to confirm a reservation. Payment details are provided with the booking confirmation.

Is early check-in or late check-out available?

Rooms are available from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure.

Depending on availability, the following options can be arranged:

- Early check-in from 11:00 am: €25 per room
- Late check-out until 1:00 pm: €30 per room
- Late check-out until 6:00 pm: €50 per room

All options must be requested in advance and are subject to confirmation by the hotel.

FOOD & DRINKS

Is it possible to book a room with breakfast only?

Of course! All rooms can be booked with breakfast or half board. Dinner can also be added during the stay with advance notice.

Is dinner available without booking half board?

Absolutely! Dinner includes a 4-course menu featuring a starter, a warm first course, a main course and dessert, along with a salad buffet. Regular themed evenings bring a little extra variety to the menu.

Dinner costs €42 per person, excluding drinks. Reservations can be made until the end of breakfast on the same day.

Are vegetarian dishes and options for food allergies available?

Absolutely! Our kitchen is happy to cater for vegetarian and vegan diets, as well as food allergies and intolerances. Just let us know before arrival so everything can be prepared accordingly.

Can non-residents come for breakfast?

Yes! Our breakfast buffet is also open to guests who aren't staying at the hotel.

The price is €25 per person, and advance reservations are required.

HOTEL & FACILITIES

Is the pool heated and when is it open?

The outdoor pool is open from April to October and heated using solar energy. Water temperature therefore depends on the weather and the amount of sunshine.

Is there an electric vehicle charging station?

Yes, an EV charging station is available directly at the hotel. Charging currently costs €0.45 per kWh, based on actual consumption. No reservation is needed.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome upon request and with prior confirmation from the hotel. As not all rooms are suitable for pets, dogs must be mentioned when making a reservation.

Is bike rental available?

Classic bicycles are available directly at the hotel for leisurely rides around the area. E-bikes and other types of bicycles can be rented through a local partner.

Is parking free?

Yes, free parking is available directly at the hotel in a gated, CCTV-monitored parking area.

Is the hotel suitable for families with children?

Of course! Families with children are always welcome. Baby cots and high chairs are available, while the spacious garden and outdoor pool offer plenty of room to play, explore and enjoy time together.

GETTING HERE & EXPLORING

How can the hotel be reached by public transport?

Hotel Frangart is easy to reach by train, bus or plane.

From Bolzano train station, take bus “131” to the “Pillhof” stop. From there, it's just a 5-minute walk to the hotel.

From Bolzano Airport, the hotel can be reached by taxi or by travelling to Bolzano train station and continuing by bus.

Pick-up services may also be arranged upon request, depending on availability.

Is a car necessary during the stay?

Not at all! Thanks to the excellent public transport connections, many of the region's attractions are easy to explore without a car.

The Südtirol Guest Pass is included in the stay and provides free use of public transport throughout South Tyrol's integrated transport network.

So there's no problem leaving the car parked at the hotel for the entire holiday.

What are the best places to visit nearby?

There's plenty to discover around Frangart! Some of the most popular attractions include Sigmundskron Castle, home to the Messner Mountain Museum, Lake Caldaro, the Montiggl Lakes, the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology with Ötzi in Bolzano, the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle and the South Tyrolean Wine Road.
